Lane Selman, an agricultural researcher at Oregon State University, is founder of the Culinary Breeding Network , a collaborative community of plant breeders, seed growers, farmers, produce buyers, and chefs aiming together to improve quality in vegetables and grains by creating, identifying, and promoting more desirable cultivars, especially organic ones. She's got some suggestions for our 2023 gardens.
